In the Daily Mail on 9 January 20016 , Neil Westwood founder of Magic Whiteboard won a record breaking auction for former UK Prime Mininster Magaret Thatcher (also know as the Iron Lady). Margaret Thatcher's House of Lords parliamentary robes achieved a record of £84,000 at Christie's in London. Offers have since been received for£100,000 and £150,000 from Japan and South Korea.
On examining the parliamentary robes a lipstick mark of Margaret Thatcher's was found on the inside of the parliamentary robes. This was not identified by Christie's in London. This makes the robes unique and are the only Margaret Thatcher's one in the World. This has significantly increased the value of Margaret Thatcher's robes. Offers have been received for £100,000 and £150,000 from overseas.
